Include water conservation in school curriculum: Mayor

Water conservation is crucial .Therefore it should be included in schools curriculum so that importance of water conservation can be imbibed from childhood, said Mayor Mohansingh Rajpal.

He was speaking at the inauguration of the 4 th edition of Harvest Rainwater and Recycle Water for Future organised by Vision India at YASHADA on Friday.

Dr VC Goyal, head,Research Coordination & Management Unit,National Institute of Hydrology,spoke about the new techniques in water conservation like river water remediation,waste water treatment,solar aquatic system .

Dr SR Kashayp,programme director,Eureka Forbes Institute of Environment,spoke on rainwater harvesting . Master Viraj Dinesh Gapchoop,young water resource manager presented his documentary on water conservation. ens
