‘I have not been transferred yet’

Pune Police Commissioner Satyapal Singh said he has not been transferred yet. Singh said he would not comment on what happened in the Assembly. When asked why allegations are made that law and order situation in Pune is worsening,Singh said the crime rate in the city has gone down ever since he took charge. He said people from Pune have appreciated his work as the law and order situation in the city is extremely good. Singh also stated that it is up to the journalists to know why only Pune is targeted when serious crimes are taking place in the other areas as well.
