How it works

One can sign up by filling the online Organ Pledge Form. On submitting the form,Gift Your Organ,in association with ZCCK (The Zonal Co-ordination Committee for Transplantation in Karnataka) will send an Organ Pledge Card. It will be the futur donor’s responsibility to get signatures of two witnesses on the Pledge Card,one of whom needs to be a close relative. This card should be kept in the wallet and the decision should be shared with near and dear ones. In case of brain death or cardiac death on a ventilator without registration,other family members can give the go ahead for the organ donation. For this they need to sign a consent form provided at the hospital.
