Workshop on Research publication
Sancheti institute for Orthopedics and Rehabilitation’s Joint Replacement Centre that has completed three years of successfully treating patients will now lay emphasis on research in clinical practice. At a workshop organised on the principles of clinical research and publication,Dr Parag Sancheti,Professor and Chairman of Sancheti Hospital and secretary of Arthroscopy Society,said that the the aim was to promote research and increase evidence based medicine. The workshop covered all aspects of research methodology ranging from types of studies and how to design a study to get one’s work published in international journals. Dr. Mohit Bhandari, Dr. James Scott and Dr. Frank Horan were among the 200 delegates present for the workshop.
