Graceful Moves

This Sunday,the Tilak Smarak Mandir will come alive with the Arangetram of Ayesha Kias,disciple of of guru Charmaine Ann Lazarus at Nupra Dance Academy. Starting at 5 pm,the evening will have Ayesha portraying her skills,grace and knowledge of Bharatnatyam. Learning dance from the age of 11,Ayesha has previously participated in and won several dance competitions. On Sunday,she will be accompanied by Chitra Subramanium on vocal Carnatic,Priya Subramanium on vocal Hindustani,Rajlaxmi Pichumani on violin,Shankar Narayan on mridangam,Haresh Joshi on tanpura,and Sunil Awchat on flute.
