Snehal Kharose, owner, German Bakery.
WITH THE Bombay High Court quashing the death sentence of Mirza Himayat Baig, German Bakery owner, Snehal Kharose, is livid and says that justice is being delayed. Admitting to a personal grouse against the system, she says that the guilty should be given severe punishment— a death sentence.
With the incident having completely ruined the most popular hangout at Koregaon Park six years ago, killing 17 people and injuring 58, Kharose says that it’s been too long and “those guilty should face a death sentence.” Kharose, who after the blast had to build the bakery again brick by brick, says, “After the blast, for 35 months, I did not know where to begin from. I fortunately got some assistance from the Maharashtra government and could think of renovation.”
