Gardener arrested for molesting school children

Pimpri police on Friday arrested a 35-year-old gardener for allegedly molesting two children of an English medium school in Mohan nagar area in Chinchwad.

Pimpri police on Friday arrested a 35-year-old gardener for allegedly molesting two children of an English medium school in Mohan nagar area in Chinchwad. The incident came to light after the children told their parents about the incident.

Cops said the incident took place at Saint Pauls English Medium School in Mohannagar on Friday morning during lunch break. Police said the gardener Nitin Narayan Aurange is not employed at the school and works in a house on the adjacent plot.

Senior inspector Mohan Vidhate of Pimpri police said,The complaint was lodged by the mother of one of the girls. As per the complaint,Aurange took these children to a secluded spot behind the school and molested them. He also showed them obscene clips on his cell phone. We arrested Aurange after we received the complaint.

Aurange has been booked under IPC Section 354 (molestation). Police said he also threatened to kill them if they raised the alarm or told anyone about the incident. Vidhate said,Some irate parents went to the school and broke the window panes. The school has not registered complaint in this regard. As of now we,Fridays case is the only one that has come to fore. We are investigating the case further, he added.
