Gadre,Tamboli progress

Sameer Gadre and Om Tamboli scored identical wins as they stormed into the third round of the Boys Under-13 category in the Solaris Club District Badminton Non-Ranking Tournament Wednesday.

Gadre beat Rutwik Pethe 15-4,15-10,while Tamboli got the better of Tanishq Garg 15-7,15-10,in their respective second round matches. Anay Apte also won his encounter,rolling past Aryan Shetty 15-5,15-7.

Later in the day,Dhruv Dandekar and Mihir Ratanjankar played an interesting match where fortunes turned either way before Ratanjankar won it 17-19. Dandekar,however,fought back to take the next two 15-8,15-7,to close the issue and progress further in the tournament.
