Former Kalyani Group employee booked for misusing its logo, military vehicle design
As per the FIR, the accused had worked in a senior role at Bharat Forge, Kalyani Group's company, which works into defence vehicle designs and parts.

A former employee of Kalyani Group company was booked for allegedly misusing its trademark logo and design of the military vehicle it manufactures for personal gains.
An FIR in this case at the Mundhwa police station on July 31.
As per the FIR, the accused had worked in a senior role at Bharat Forge, Kalyani Group’s company, which works into defence vehicle designs and parts.
In the FIR, it is alleged that the accused used the defence vehicle designs of Bharat Forge for financial gains of his company.
The FIR mentions that Bharat Forge had participated in an international exhibition on military vehicles, arms and equipment in Abu Dhabi in UAE in February.
According to the complaint, at the exhibition, the accused was found distributing his company’s pamphlets, allegedly carrying Bharat Forge’s defence vehicle design, along with Kalyani Group’s trademark logo.
The FIR mentions that the design team and legal team of Kalyani Group checked the pamphlets and it revealed that the accused allegedly printed the registered trademark of Kalyani Group and its military vehicle design on his company’s information pamphlet.
It is also alleged in the FIR that by making minor changes in the military vehicle design of Bharat Forge, the accused published its image with the information of his company on a social networking platform.
The accused was booked under sections 316 (2), 318 (3), 318 (4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and sections of the Indian Trademarks Act, 1999.
Pune city police are investigating the case.
