Fergusson College student dies by suicide at private hostel, probe on

The police said Om allegedly ended his life at the hostel on Thursday evening. After receiving information about the incident, a team of Pune city police rushed to the spot. The cops took the body to a hospital for post mortem.

Even as the police suspect to be a case of suicide, no suicide note was found and a probe was launched to confirm the cause behind the step taken, they said.

Meanwhile, a case of accidental death was lodged at the Chaturshringi police station as per the procedure.
