Project:Citizen Facilitation Centre to accept online applications and issue certificates in one hour

Facility:As part of the e-governance project,facilitation centres were to help citizens who have to wait for hours at the district collectorate or make numerous rounds of the office to get certificates such as domicile,caste,income and others.

Earlier this year,the collectorate had also announced that as they were to rennovate their old buildings,the entire operations were to shift to Shivajinagar godown and a special software from the state government was to be used for issuing the certificates in an hour. The amount for the project was to cleared from the DPDC.

Present status:Time and again there have been discussions about it and talks about online application have been taken up by the collectorate. But the project remains yet on paper with no progress.
