Professional dancers in the city will now have an opportunity to refine their talent and give their dance a new dimension as renowned Indian contemporary and modern dancer Astad Deboo conducts a dance workshop today. The workshop has been organised by Max Muller Bhavan and will be held at Sudarshan Hall between 2 and 5 pm. It is a workshop that is exclusively going to be held for established dancers. Participants will be exposed to Indian classical as well as contemporary dance by the Padma-Shri awardee. The workshop will be followed by a programme on Friday,April 30,at the Max Muller Bhavan wherein Deboo will perform Dance Expressions,a series of dances,which he has choreographed himself. The programme will also feature performances by the students of Hrushikesh Pawar’s dance academy-Kalachhaya,to provide dance-lovers with an entertaining evening.
