Though his film Radio received a lukewarm response,Himesh Reshammiya has high hopes for his next three releases,which include Kajra Re,Ishq Unplugged and Mud Mud Ke Naa Dekkh Mud Mud Ke. He is also working with John Matthew Matthan in a film tentatively titled A Love Issshtory and calls himself lucky to have landed good films.

“Though I am an actor now,music will always be my first love because that’s what I am more passionate about,” he adds.

On remakrs of him being very exclusive he says with a quick retort,“I want to be exclusive. After composing music for so many films and working on my current projects,I do not have much time left for anything else.”

With a couple of releases lined up this year he says with an air of sureity,“I am sure I want to act,sing and compose songs for my films.” Reshamiya is also working on an international project,details of which are still under wraps.

In the city to inaugurate SeamEdu’s newly opened sound engineering and recording institute at Karve Nagar he says,“India has a lot of talent that needs to be tapped. With institutions like these,we wont have to depend on a foreign crews for music concerts and sound recording.”

Sound engineering is a science while music direction is an art and the confluence of these two creates great music feels Reshammiya “It is only now that I have understood the importance of sound as a music composer. With technological know how and availability of resources,we can definitely make a mark on the international map,” he adds.
