Representatives from 45 UK universities,seminars on various subject areas,and a stall by the UK Border Agency - these are the highlights of the upcoming British Council's Education Exhibition 2012.

Representatives from 45 UK universities,seminars on various subject areas,and a stall by the UK Border Agency – these are the highlights of the upcoming British Council’s Education Exhibition 2012. This fair will be held at Le Meridien on February 8,from 1 -7 pm and will give both students and parents a chance to gain detailed information about studying and living in the UK.

Organised by the UK’s International Organisation for Educational and Cultural Relations,this fair will cater to undergraduate,postgraduate and research students. Some of the participating institutions are Aston University,Birmingham,University of Bedfordshire,The University of Birmingham,Birmingham City University,University of Central Lancashire,City University London,University for the Creative Arts (UCA),University of East London,University of Gloucestershire,University of Greenwich (London),King’s College London (University of London),University of Leeds,The University of Manchester,University of Northampton,Queen Margaret University,Edinburgh,University of Reading,University of Salford (Manchester),UCL School of Pharmacy,University of Surrey,University of Sussex,University of Warwick. The representatives,apart from giving information about the cost of education,living and other expenses,will also shed light on the culture of the country. Academicians from the institutions will deliver seminars on subjects like IT and Engineering,Law and Business Management and so on. Aspirants can also explore the different kinds of scholarships available. Some students can opt for the pre-departure briefings that the British Council organises closer to their leaving for the UK. Different aspects of student life in the UK such as teaching and learning methods used,discounts and the dos and don’ts will also be explored.

This time around,this exhibition will also include a stall by the UK Border Agency (UKBA) which will be managed by officers of the British Deputy High Commission.
