Animation workshop by Anibrain XDI

Anibrain XDI,an animation,visual effects (VFX) and new media institute,will launch its special course ‘Animation Workshop for Kids’ from April. Designed for students between the age group of 10 to 15 years,this course will introduce children to the world of animation. The course will conclude with the students getting an opportunity to make their own short animation film. The institute is offering scholarships covering the course fee for one student from each school. Anibrain XDI has requested school authorities to contact them for further details on these scholarships. The course will be conducted five days a week for three weeks and will cover history and principles of animation,idea development,digital imaging,basic drawing,basic animation,character design & animation and camera movement. Jesh Krishna Murthy,founder and CEO of Anibrain XDI,said: “Kids are a powerhouse of talent and creativity. At the same time,they relate to technology with amazing ease. This course has been designed to empower children by learning,experiencing and showcasing their creativity by marrying their skills with technology. “

Ayurved mahavidyalaya to hold national conference

The Association of Shalaki and Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya will organise its 6th National Conference on Shalakyatantra (ENT,Opthalmology and Dentistry) on April 5,6 and 7. The conference will be held at Nima Auditorium at the institute. The first day will have a pre-conference workshop after which various sessions on opthalmology,ENT and live krikalpas will be done. On all three days,experts will give keynote lectures on the subject of their experience and many eminent doctors will present papers. Dr Arun Jamkar,Vice-Chancellor,Maharashtra University of Health Sciences,and Dr Kuldeep Raj Kohli,Director of Ayurved,Maharshtra,will be the chief guests at the inaugural and valedictory ceremonies.

Placement drive at Bharati Vidyapeeth

Bharati Vidyapeeth deemed university’s Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship Development (IMED) organised a two-week placement drive from March 11 to 27 for all courses such as MBA,MCA,BBA and BCA. “As many as 75 companies from Pune participated… Placement drives open the gateway to grab good opportunity to every student,” said Sachin Vernekar,Director,IMED. A total of 62 MBA and 10 MCA students got placements.
