Drive against illegal sand mining

In the wake of complaints of illegal sand mining,the district collector has ordered a drive from June 30 to July 10 to check the status of leases of those carrying out sand mining in the district. Accordingly,a list of leases will be prepared and the staff will check the status of quarrying activities in the district.
