Down,but not out

“As things stand now,I must accept the truth that I could not make through. The number of votes I have received does not go with the projections I had made earlier.

Anil Shirole (BJP)
“Even though I could not win the seat,BJP managed to keep the margin very low and gave a tough fight to Congress. However,I must admit that we fell short of achieving the target.” Shirole,however,said that he will still strive to work for the development of the city.

D S Kulkarni (BSP):
“As things stand now,I must accept the truth that I could not make through. The number of votes I have received does not go with the projections I had made earlier. I do not understand where and how we fell short.” Despite his defeat,DSK has decided to go ahead and plant trees at his housing project DSK Vishwa on Sinhagad Road from Sunday morning. “I will start doing what I had promised before the polls,” he said.

Ranjit Shirole (MNS):
“This was my first election experience and even though I could not win the seat,I could create my own space through this. Though I do not become an MP,I will keep working for the betterment of Pune.” He also said that this election has provided a platform to the party for the upcoming Assembly elections.
