The Three Divas – Patricia Rozario,Joanne D’Mello and Susanna Hurrel – along with Mark Troop,founder of The Chamber Music Company,on the piano,entertained the audience with their music at Vivanta by Taj Blue Diamond on Friday. A musical confluence of Indian and British artistes,the event was organised by the British Deputy High Commision and The British Business Group,Pune,in association with The Poona Music Society. The trio performed various opera scenes from Romeo et Juliette,La Boheme,Die Zauberflote,Porgy and Bess,Enchanted Pig and a Goa Folksong.

Upcoming film Pune tc, which is centred around a young boy who comes to the city and falls in love with it,will score on the music front. Singers Kunal Ganjawala,Sonali Bhatewara and Jay Ji have come together for the soundtrack of this production. The opening song,Manzil,has been sung by Ganjawala with and has a jazz twist to it,while Sufi song Man Pagal Pagal has been rendered by Jay Ji. “The film is about youth,love and chaos, says director Abhijeet Choudhary who also stars in the film. Apart from him,Pune tc also features Riyaz Shaikh (producer),Ayub Khan,Ridhima Pathak,Sulagna Chatterjee,Bhakti Ratnaparkhi,Dhanashree Heblikar and Prerna Mahajan.
