National Award-winning Marathi musical duo Ajay-Atul were in the city on Monday with the intention of taking the traditional Maharastrian dhol tasha to a whole new level. They announced their search for launching Pune’s biggest and best Dhol Tasha Pathak. “We want to take this talent and nurture it in a way so that it will be usable not only in Marathi cinema,but also all over the world. That is our dream,” said Atul. “The sound of the dhol tasha energises the whole body,we seem to come alive with the sound. This is something unique to Maharashtra and we decided what better place to start our competition than in Pune,our birth place,” he added.
