Dalvi seeks papers of displaced villagers

District collector Chandrakant Dalvi has directed revenue officials concerned to make documents related to villagers displaced by the Lavasa project available.

On Tuesday,Dalvi,after meeting activists agitating against the project,said allegations of adivasi land being usurped would be addressed if the allegedly aggrieved parties come forth and register independent complaints.

A Lavasa spokesperson said they had issued advertisements in the media clarifying several issues. “We stand by our statement,” said the spokesperson.
