In order to redress citizens grievances and complaints regarding postal services,the Department of Posts in Pune has arranged a regional level dak adalat on Tuesday at the office of the Postmaster General,Pune region,on September 28.
Complaints pertaining to the postal services registered mails,speed posts,counters services,non-payment of money orders from districts including Pune,Satara,Solapur and Ahmednagar that have not been settled within six weeks will be entertained at the dak adalat. The complaints should carry details like date,name,designation of the officer to whom original complaint was addressed,particulars of articles,etc.
Those who want to take part in the dak adalat will have to send their complaints to P G Karne,assistant director of Postal Services,on or before September 13. ens
