Cricket: win for Angels High School

Angels High School Loni defeated Katariya High School by 61 runs in the under-14 Inter-School Cricket Competition organised by the Poona Schools Athletic Association at the Azam Campus ground on Tuesday.

Angels HS batted first and put up a total huge total of 121 runs for the loss of one wicket in their allotted 12 overs.

Skipper Rishikesh Rasal top-scored with an unbeaten half century. Shubham Harpale supported him well with an unbeaten 31.

Aditya Karmikar of Katariya HS took the only wicket of the innings.

In reply,Katariya HS managed to score only 60 runs for the loss of six wickets in their 12 overs.

Ruturaj Gaikwad of Angels was the pick of the bowlers,scalping two important wickets. Rishikesh Rasal and Sanjay Pawar supported him well with a wicket each.
