The Pune District Cricket Association (PDCA) defeated Ahmednagar DCA on the basis of a superior first innings lead in the U 16 Invitational League Tournament organised by the Maharashtra Cricket Association and held at the Dilip Vengsarkar Cricket Academy ground on Thursday.
ADCA batted first and put up a total of 198 runs in 67 overs before being bowled out,said a press note issued here. Aditya Mistri top scored with 46 runs while Saurabh Sanklecha chipped in with 42 runs of his own,said a press note.
For PDCA,Prasad Shelar was the pick of the bowlers,scalping three wickets for 50 runs while Indrajit Pharate supported him well with a couple of wickets of his own.
In reply,PDCA scored 301 runs in 83 overs before being bowled out thus gaining a lead of 103 runs. Ajinkya Ambike top scored with 64*,while Deepak Patil top scored with 62 runs of his own.
