Kirloskar Oil Engines defeated Bharat Forge by eight wickets in the inter-industry cricket tournament being held at the Tata Motors cricket ground on Friday.

Kirloskar Oil Engines defeated Bharat Forge by eight wickets in the inter-industry cricket tournament being held at the Tata Motors cricket ground on Friday. Kirloskar bowler Vikram Kamble with figures of 4/10 was the star performer of the day.

Bharat Forge batted first and were bowled out cheaply for just 79 runs in eighteen overs.

A Ashish and Deepak Jamble were joint top-scorers with 13 runs each. Kirloskar s Kamble demolished the Bharat Forge batting. Digvijay Kamthekar supported him well with three wickets of his own. In reply,Kirloskar Oil engines achieved their target in 13 overs with eight wickets to spare. Kaustubh Deshpande was the top-scorer remaining unbeaten on 35 while Amit Chavan contributed with 30 runs of his own.
