* Reena Arts is playing host to a special workshop,where calligraphy,one-stroke painting,stage decoration,clay modeling and posture colouring will be taught. The workshop will be held at Reena Arts,Mukund Nagar,DSK,from October 27 onwards.

* At a terracotta workshop by Keshav Kasar,learn the delicate art of modeling terracotta into varied evocative shapes and figures. The workshop will be held at Waves Art Gallery,Parmar Trade Centre,from November 5 to 8,between 9.30 am and 5 pm.

* Snip away to popularity at the B:blunt Hairdressing Academy as this Adhuna Bhabhani-Akhtar venture presents basic and professional hairdressing and styling courses. The workshop willl start from November onwards,at Canrich Arcade,M G Road.

Exhibition

* Surface Poems,an exhibition of paintings by Dr Niteen Gupte will be organised at Indiaart Gallery,Off Senapati Bapat Road beginning October 17. Dr Guptes paintings play with basic visual concepts,with polarities like line-surface/ flatness-depth being stressed on heavily.

* Feast your eyes on an exhibition of paintings,done in acrylic on canvas,by Amrutraj Koban. The exhibition will be held at Contemporary Indian Art Gallery,Hadapsar till October 25.
