Indian Face For M&B Cover
Mills & Boon will now have Indian ‘models’ on its cover. The hunt for Indian faces has already been launched under M&B’s Friends For Life campaign. Three male and three female faces will be shortlisted to feature on the cover of the series’ upcoming novel. The hunt is also being run online,on Facebook as well as on the M&B website,and is drawing a fair amount of attention since there are no specific guidelines with respect to age or facial features. Art In An Instant
Artist Asmita Lad,along with daughters Sampada Pillai and Kashmira Lad,are displaying the spontaneity and magic of instant batik in the city. The trio have discarded the Napthol Salt process of batik and replaced it with the instant version. The current collection includes artworks based on Goa,Warli,Madhubani,portraits and abstracts and is on display at Grubshups Art Hub. The beautiful landscapes,seascapes and abstracts bring alive the natural beauty of the holiday destination. The exhibition is till August 31,10 am-11 pm.
