“With timeliness,a quest for learning and the love for art,one can achieve the epitome of success,” said veteran artist and architect D S Khatavkar. He was speaking at the prize distribution ceremony of third state level nature painting competition organised by Maharashtra Vidyarthi Sahayyak Mandal (MVSM) in collaboration with DMKSD Abanave Art College at Yashawantrao Chavan auditorium in Kothrud. 106 students from 46 Arts colleges participated in the competition,which was held at Pathershet. Amit Dhahane,Rohidas Sarode,Amar Lahire and Varsha Titke were declared the winners of the competition. The prize money and the certificates were given to the winners at the hands of D S Khatavkar. The exhibition of the paintings was held at Yashwantrao Chavan auditorium in Kothrud.
