“This initiative builds capacity by exposing future Maharashtra administrators to Army ethos in leadership and crisis management. By fostering a spirit of true jointmanship and civil-military fusion, it ensures that civil and army efforts are fully aligned for the sharing of best practices. This mutual trust supports a better distribution of control centres, enhancing overall interoperability. Consequently, both services can coordinate and respond to any situation with minimum time taken, significantly benefiting collaborative operations,” said a press statement issued through Defence PRO, Pune.
“In the evolving landscape of modern warfare and disaster response, the nature of operation is undergoing significant transformation. The emergence of hybrid warfare, asymmetric conflicts, natural disasters and complex humanitarian crises has highlighted the urgent necessity of seamless coordination between military and civil administration,” the release added.
