Modi to visit city on July 14

Pune: Gujarat chief minister and BJP poll panel chief Narendra Modi will be visiting the city on July 14,when he is expected to address a BJP rally apart from attending a function at Sadhu Vaswani Mission. On Sunday,Modi will visit the Darshan museum and later he will officially inaugurate the Sadhu Vaswani College of Nursing in presence of Rev Dada JP Vaswani. He is also scheduled to release a book based on forgiveness,

titled Kshama Karogaye,Sukhi Rahogaye,written by Rev Dada JP Vaswani. He is also expected to attend a meeting of the BJP workers and party MLAs.

History-sheeter found murdered at Kalewadi

pune: A criminal on police record,identified as Bade Khan Dadusahab Shaikh,was allegedly found

murdered in Kalewadi slums of Kothrud on Friday late evening. An offence of murder has been registered at Kothrud police station. Police suspect that Bade Khan was murdered due over some past rivalry. Investigation is on ascertain the perpetrator and the motive for the murder.

6 rabies deaths reported at city hospital this year

pune: As many as six rabies deaths have been reported from Punes Naidu Hospital so far this year. Of the 70 deaths in the state last year,at least 21 were reported from the hospital.
