No water supply to parts of city on Friday
Water supply to parts of the city will be cut on Friday for repair work at Wagholi water pumping station. The areas that will be hit include Kalas,Mhaske wasti,Vidyanagar,VIshrantwadi,Bhairavnagar,Dhanori,Lohegaon and Wagholi.

Rain raises water level in dams
Continous rain in the catchment areas has increased the water level in dams. On Wednesday,Khadakwasla,Varasgaon,Temghar and Panshet dams registered 78.29 per cent water levels. After a good rainfall on Monday and Tuesday,Panshet registered only 8 mm rainfall on Wednesday,Varasgaon registered 10 mm rainfall and Temghar recorded 25 mm rainfall. The irrigation department registed 81.43 per cent water capacity with 1.61 TMC for the Khadakwasla dam. Panshet was at 9.73 TMC while Varasgaon was at 9.63 TMC on Tuesday. Temghar recorded 63.79 per cent on Wednesday. The average dam level on September 1 was 78.29 per cent with 22.83 TMC.
