Adopting Change

On Sunday,almost 800 people converged at the Symbiosis Campus,Senapati Bapat road. They came with eager faces and love in their hearts for the mixed breed puppies,kittens and bigger dogs up for adoption. Symbiosis Law School’s cultural fest,Symbhav ’12,in association with People for Animals,Animal Friends,Jeev Raksha Support Group and Pedigree organised an adoption camp which featured 36 puppies,16 kittens and six bigger dogs. Out of these,32 puppies,13 kittens and three dogs got adopted. The adopters were scrutinised and counselled. Volunteers from the animal organisation and the college buzzed about,making sure that the camp ran smoothly. The students of Symbiosis law school made sure that there was strict checking at the entry and exit points. The fosters,adopters and guests were allowed entry only after showing some address proof.
