Interactions on BSE SME platform
With the BSE SME platform expected to be operational from September,the stock exchange is holding interactions with the stockholders on the listing requirements and guidelines for investors. BSE SME Exchange chief executive officer Lakshman Gugulothu was in Pune recently for an interaction with those in the small and medium enterprises sector. Gugulothu said the BSE platform provides a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to raise equity capital. It is also an opportunity for the investors to identify and invest in good companies at an early stage. It will add value to the companies and in the process create wealth for all the stakeholders,including investors. The facilities on the routine exchange such as capital gain tax benefits and facility to exit at any point of time will also be offered at the SME exchange. The BSE in a statement said it had initiated a series of interactions across the country to educate shareholders,market intermediaries and investors on the importance of listing of small and medium enterprises on BSE SME exchange.
Zensar enters pact with Innovize Tech
Zensar Technologies has entered into an agreement with Innovize Tech Software for licensing their software product,Sapience. Sapience is an automated software solution designed to help organisations boost people efficiency by over 20 percent directly impacting total output,client satisfaction and profitability,said a press release. The solution will be integrated into Zensars internally-developed business intelligence platform for effort analytics and estimation. Sanjay Marathe,senior vice-president,Zensar,said,Sapience will help us in accurate effort measurement using high level of automation, said Shirish Deodhar,InnovizeTech co-founder.
Tulips joins hands with Italian designer
Tulips Ambbience has entered into a tie-up with Italian designer,Gabriella B,known for her work in ceramics home decor. A section at its the Tulip store at A G Tech Park,Gaikwad Avenue,Aundh,will showcase her creations in ceramics,including pottery and lights. S Mutha,director,Tulips Ambbience,said,The furnishing and home decor industry in India is unorganised and the organised sector mostly caters to the mass market With Tulips Store,we are trying to fill this gap that exists for a premium chain of home furnishing stores. The store will offer drapery as well as upholstery fabrics sourced from India,Europe,the US and Singapore,said a press release.
Universal opens stores in Patna
Universal Construction Machinery and Equipment has kickstarted its construction equipment retail business with the launch of Universal exclusive stores in Patna,Bihar. The company will expand its retail format to cities such as Kurukshetra,Surat,Nagpur,Jaipur and Hyderabad in next two-three months and will launch 35 stores in the next five years. Universal Exclusive Stores will house all Universal brands and will be run by franchisees. The stores will also come up in metros and Tier II and Tier III cities. The stores will host the entire Universal product portfolio and give offer sales,after sales service and spares.
