Auto component sector: Buyer-seller meet held
ACMA,the apex body of the automotive component industry,recently organised a buyer-seller meet in the city. The event,aimed at providing business opportunities to small auto component manufacturers especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 companies,received an overwhelming response.
Surinder Kanwar,president,ACMA said,Supply Chain Committee of ACMA initiated the drive to handhold the Tier-2/3 companies through buyers-sellers business meets. Sandeep Balooja,chairman,ACMA (Western Region) said,their endeavour has been to provide value added services to the auto component industry in the
region.
Rattan Kapur,chairman,ACMA-Supply Chain Committee said,the buyers-sellers meet provides a platform for Tier-1 companies to display components for which they need suppliers and for exploring new opportunities.
KBL inks pact with MED Egypt
Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL) as signed a MoU with Mechanical and Electrical Department (MED) and Ministry of Water Resource and Irrigation of Government of Egypt to train MEDs engineers and technicians. The aim of the training programme is to upgrade mechanical engineers and technicians of their know-how on various aspects of pump installation,pump operations,pump maintenance and trouble shooting.
Axis Banks latest offering
Axis Bank,Indias third largest private sector bank,launched Empower Home Loan,a unique home loan product for the self-employed individuals. The product is offered to only Resident Self-employed customers (professionals & non-professionals) under Floating rate option.
Finolex opens shop at Masar
Finolex Industries Ltd has commenced commercial production of PVC pipes at its Masar near Vadodara (Gujarat) Finolex Industries had entered into a memorandum of understanding with the government of Gujarat about setting up of the plant.
The plant would be set up on 29 acres and will go into production in two phases.
