Bharat Forge Ltd has registered a growth of 154 per cent in net profit in the second quarter,with combined and standalone revenue reaching Rs 1,111 crore & Rs 727 crore respectively.
Stand-alone revenue and Earnings Before Interest,Taxes,Depreciation and Amortisation for Q2 reached Rs 727 crore and Rs 183 crore,a year-on-year growth of 67.7 per cent 68.7 per cent respectively,said a press release.
Combined revenue and Earnings Before Interest,Taxes,Depreciation and Amortisation for the quarter was 1,111 crore and Rs 194.3 crore,a year-on-year growth of 56.3 per cent and 105.4 per cent respectively.
Commenting on the performance of the company,B N Kalyani,chairman and managing d irector said,The company continues to post strong growth numbers on the back of domestic automotive demand and recovery in the US and European markets.
The non-auto business gained momentum across domestic and export markets with increased order inflow andscale up of production activity at the new facilities of the company,he added.
