Berry Christmas

Red,yellow,green lights,beautifully decorated Christmas trees,twinkling star hangings and ginger-bread houses. Almost every hotel,mall,restaurant has a warm,welcoming Christmasy look. From the 25-ft tall stocking at Amanora Town Centre,a 12-feet high Ginger bread house which includes intricate curtains,window panes,door handles,mini Christmas trees and even little people,at Marriott Hotel and Convention Centre,to a 40-ft high Christmas tree studded with glittery red decorations at Phoenix Marketcity,the city is studded with these representations of the festival of joy. And then there are the Christmas parties and brunches. At Area 51,Anamika,Megha,Suchit and Swagata of Splitsvilla fame will make a special appearance as revellers groove to music dished out by DJs Sky,Agnel,Nishant,Nicole and Abhishek from 1 – 5 pm today. In the evening,DJ Eve Carey will spin some electronic tunes at Mi A Mi,while DJ Amely,who has set dance floors on fire in Dubai,Turkey,Switzerland,will take over the console at Hard Rock Cafe,Koregaon Park,8 pm onwards. AT Kue Bar,DJ Neeraj from Mumbai will play foot-tapping commercial,House,RnB and hip-hop tunes. For kids between ages of 3 and 12,there’s a special X’mas party at Sayaji Hotel,Wakad,on Sunday,7.30 pm.
