Theatre enthusiasts will make their way to the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII),Law College Road,this evening. Swatantra Theatre’s Hindi play,Ji Jaisi Aapki Marzi,will be staged here at 7 pm. The play comprises monologues by four women,which depict the typical relationships that a woman is known for. Ji Jaisi Aapki Marzi attempts to give voice to those women who are denied basic facilities like education and are dependent on others. The cast consists of Dhanashree Heblikar,Sandhya Reddy,Susmita Mukherji and Sai Kolte. It is directed by Ahijeet Choudhary.

Classical Stage

Classical music lovers in the city can look forward to an instrumental concert of flute and santoor on November 24. The concert,organised by Gaanwardhan and Seth Mathuradas Kishandas Memorial Trust,will feature Sa Re Ga Ma fame flute artiste Amar Oak and santoor artiste Dr Dhananjay Daithan,who is a disciple of renowned artiste Pandit Shivkumar Sharma. Oak will be accompanied by Prasad Joshi while Daithan will have Satyajeet Talwalkar on tabla.This musical treat will be held at Manohar Mangal Karyalaya,Erandawane,at 6 pm and the entry is free.
