Salute to womanhood
* As part of its campaign to spread the spirit of International Women’s Day in society,Lokayat is organising a short film festival of women-related issues. The festival will screen six short films on March 7 between 4 and 7 pm at Lokayat Hall,Opp Syndicate Bank,Law College Road.
* Women artists showcase the spirit of womanhood with an exhibition of paintings and sculptures. To commemorate the International Women’s Day,the Indiaart Gallery has organised an exhibition of paintings and sculptures by women artists that features women artists from all over India. The exhibition is on till March 19
* Enlighten the women of today at the art camp organised by the Art2Day Gallery. The art camp is for women artists in Rihe Village near Hinjewadi IT Park on March 5 between 3 and 5 pm.
* On the occasion of International Women’s Day,,Niche Stagecraft has organised a comic play Life on a Single Bed at the Nehru Memorial Hall,on Sunday at 6.30 pm.
