Art against cancer

Ahead of the Indian Cancer Society’s Race for Hope at Pune Race Course on Sunday,artist Kisalay P Vora will join the RWITC in supporting the fight against cancer by donating one of his paintings to the the Indian Cancer Society on Saturday. Kisalay will also display more of his work in an exhibition titled “Then and Now”,and he will demonstrate live art at the paddock in the race course between 1 pm and 6 pm. A well-known artist,Kisalay is credited with designing some of the tallest sculpture in stainless steel and the largest murals,amongst other accomplishments.

Make Friendship Day memorable this year at Kiva Terminus with Xtacy’s Sunday Noon (Friendship Day) party. With DJ Lemon and DJ Rohan spinning tracks,the dance floor will be centrestage. Though no liquor will be served at the party — to keep the focus on the dancing and fun — entry will be restricted to those above 18 years. The event begins at 12 pm at the Hinjewadi club.
