Artist Madhuri Bhaduri has been invited by Tata Steel at Jamshedpur to participate in their Art Camp – Centre For Excellence from February 11 – 14. “It is indeed an honour for me since my association with the Tata Group dates back to 1988 when my painting was bought by late Jamshed Bhabha at my first show at Jehangir Art Gallery Mumbai. It was subsequently used in their corporate calendar in 1989 alongside works of veteran artists like M F Hussain,Anjolie Ela Menon,Laxman Srestha and so on,” says Bhaduri.

In keeping with its aim of promoting classical music,the Poona Sangeetha Sabha has organised a concert featuring the Malladi Brothers at Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan Hall,off Senapati Bapat Road,on February 11. Singers Sreerama Prasad and Ravikumar,popularly known as Malladi Brothers,have performed across the country and abroad. Their passion for music has won them several awards and honours. During their city performance,they will be accompanied by H N Bhaskar on violin,Neyveli Narayanan on mridangam and Anirudh Athreya on kanjira.
