Annual NCC Air Squadron training camp held

The 3 (Mah) Air Squadron NCC annual training camp was held at MIT College,Karve Road,from June 20-30.

The 3 (Mah) Air Squadron NCC annual training camp was held at MIT College,Karve Road,from June 20-30. A total of 450 cadets participated in the camp,which included schools from the city as well as the Pune region,apart from Nanded and Rajgurunagar.

A variety of activities,such as a cultural show and a campfire,were organised during the camp,said a press note.

A mind management camp and Vipassana session were also conducted.

A treasure hunt was organised on the penultimate day,which the senior wing (girls) came up trumps.

As many as 10 cadets from the unit under Wg Cdr Puneet Sharma have joined the Armed Forces during the last year,the note said. Presently,recruitment is in progress for the new academic year.

Students who volunteer can become part of the organisation on a first-come-first-serve basis,it added.
