With all the hoopla about the IPL,121 Kitchen: BarBQ has planned its own celebrations that includes a “hoopla” counter. Patrons visiting the restaurant to enjoy a meal while watching their favourite teams play now stand to win a free dessert or drinks after a game of hoopla. For added excitement,there is also a buy-one-get-one-free offer on the Lunch Buffet on Saturdays,with over 22 items on the menu.

Swatantra Theatre will perform a Hindi adaptation of Cheaper by the dozen on May 16 at MES Auditorium,Kothrud. Written by Frank Bunker Gilbreth Jr and Emestine Gilbreth Care,Cheaper by the dozen is a comic story of time and motion study and efficiency experts Frank Bunker Gilbreth and Lillian Moller Gilbreth,and their 12 children. The Hindi adaptation revolves around a Gujarati family based in Pune. Children between 5 and 15 years old are part of this production. The show is being directed by Abhijeet Choudhary while the book was adapted by Dhanashree Heblikar.

Congress releases second list for Bihar elections, fields 5 candidates

Congress released its second list of candidates for the Bihar Assembly elections, but the Mahagathbandhan is still working on a seat-sharing arrangement for the first phase of polling. The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) will contest six seats on its own. The elections will be held in two phases on November 6 and 11, with results on November 14.
