3 chain-snatching incidents in city

As many as three incidents of chain snatching were reported in different parts of the city on Monday.

Sujata Vijay Bhosale (37) of Shukrawar Peth was waiting for an auto-rickshaw near Salisbury Park when two unknown persons on a motorcycle snatched her gold chain worth Rs 60,000,around 8.45 pm on Sunday.

In another incident,75-year-old Vijaya Yeshwant Kale of Navi Peth was walking towards her home when two persons,on a motorcycle,snatched her gold chain worth Rs 24,000 around 9.20 pm on Saturday.

A youth snatched the gold chain of Shalini Sanjay Karande on New Canal Road in Hadapsar around 8.45 pm on Saturday.

Around 15 chain-snatching incidents have taken place in various parts of the city over the past two weeks.
