Water for Gold?

Is water worth its weight in pure gold?

Is water worth its weight in pure gold? Given the state of the monsoons this year,we may find out sooner than we think. Drawing a parallel between water and gold,American filmmaker Sam Bozzo wrote and directed Blue Gold: World Water Wars in 2008,based on a book by the same name, written by Maude Barlow and Tony Clarke. Winner of Best Environmental Film at the Vancouver International Film Festival and Ecology Now! award at the European Independent Film Festival, the film analyses the environmental and political repercussions on the world’s dwindling water supply. It will be screened at Prithvi House today at 7pm,as part of the culture hub’s monthly Vikalp@Prithvi. The event is free for all with seating available on a first come first serve basis.
