Divisional Railway Manager, Central Railway, Amitabh Ojha, Thursday admitted that repeated delays and cancellations of trains had now become a major concern.

Ojha said while there were various reasons, like the AC-DC conversation and the heavy rains last month that caused disruption in services, the quality of the rakes was also a major factor. Other major causes for delays, he said, were the level-crossing gates on the central line, chain pulling, and the capacity of existing terminals facing heavy congestion.
