Parts of Ra.One may be done in 3D,says SRK

He didn’t come dressed in a futuristic costume, nor did he perform stunts as many expected him to. But Shah Rukh Khan showcased the first theatrical promo of his home production, the superhero film Ra.One,at IMAX in Wadala grand dome theatre in Mumbai on Tuesday.

As the lights dimmed, one could see a costumed hero leap across the landscape and scale walls before finally resting against the windshield of a car which has Kareena Kapoor seated alongside a kid. The scene was the introduction of G.One,the superhero Khan plays in the film, and took forward from the first promo, unveiled during the cricket World Cup. “It’s the movie closest to my heart. I’ve done it for my kids and for my love of superheroes,” said the actor-producer.

But once the trailer was over and the lights were back on,it was the superstar’s friend Karim Morani, who stole the show in absentia. Arrested on Monday, for his role in the 2G scam case,Morani became the subject of conversation as Khan found himself faced with questions from the media regarding the producer’s role. “The case is sub-judice and it’s unfair to drag those known to Mr Morani into it,” he said.

Brushing away questions about competing with Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 2,Khan,said that he is toying with the idea of converting a few action sequences of the movie in 3D to keep up with the latest trend. “Tests are on,the decision will depend on the results.”
