Temp up but still below normal

A day after city experienced an unusual chill,with temperature dropping to 8.8 degrees,minimum temperatures continued to remain five to six degrees below normal on Friday with Santacruz recording 10.6 degrees and Colaba recording 15.2 degrees.

A day after city experienced an unusual chill,with temperature dropping to 8.8 degrees,minimum temperatures continued to remain five to six degrees below normal on Friday with Santacruz recording 10.6 degrees and Colaba recording 15.2 degrees. However,day time temperatures rose to around 30 degrees. The Met department is expecting an overall rise in mercury levels in the next few days.

“Temperatures will increase in the next one or two days to about 15 degrees. But they will still be about two degrees below normal,” said V K Rajeev,director,IMD.
