A 30-year-old resident of Bandra came to Mumbai on Saturday after a stay in London for three weeks. He was admitted to Kasturba Hospital after he complained of fever. His family will be screened for symptoms of flu. “As per the protocol, some of them could be put on home-quarantine and low doses of tamiflu,” said Dr Uddhav Gawande,in- charge of swine flu surveillance.

In another case,a 28-year-old man from Pune was admitted to the hospital. “He was taken straight to the Kasturba Hospital from the airport,” said Gawande. He too tested positive for the dreaded virus. “In both the cases, the co-passengers two rows ahead and two rows behind the victims will also be tracked,” he said.
