SIES Kanchi Seer awards given away

Founder vice-chancellor of Azim Premji University and social sector leader professor Anurag Behar, leading researcher in the field of Quantum technology professor Urbasi Sinha and well known author and preacher Dushyant Sridhar were conferred the SIES Kanchi Seer National Eminence award for the year 2023.

Dr V Shankar, president of the SIES presented the awards at an event held in Shanmukhananda hall, Mumbai on Sunday.

The awards were given in four fields — public leadership, community leadership, science & technology and social leadership.

The awards carries a cash prize of Rs 2.5 lakh, a gold-plated brass lamp, a shawl , citation and mementoes.
