Shyam Shroff Memorial from Monday

Defending champion Yasin Merchant and 2008 runner-up Aditya Mehta will lead an elite field of cueists who will feature in the HSBC Premier-Shyam Shroff Memorial Open Invitation Snooker Tournament that will be held at the Khar Gymkhana from April 13 to 28. Apart from the formidable duo,the main draw will include Otters 9-Ball champion and current India No. 1 Manan Chandra,Sourav Kothari,Alok Kumar,all of PSPB,Brijesh Damani of Kolkata,Shahbaz Khan,Devendra Joshi of PSPB,Geet Sethi,and Railway cueists Kamal Chawla,Rupesh Shah and Rafat Habib. The tournament is held in memory of one of Khar Gymkhana’s and India’s versatile exponents Shyam Shroff,a 7-times-national snooker champion.
