St. Lawrence High scores a hattrick with 100% results for the third consecutive year – SSC Exams 2011-12

For the third consecutive year,St.Lawrence High School has secured 100 % SSC results and thus achieved a hatrick ,maintaining consistency in the schools performance for the last three years. This has been possible due to the hard efforts put in by the teachers and the students of the school to bring out their best. year after year. The Principal Mrs.Ursula Dsouza mentioned that the school not only believed in imparting excellent training in academics but also focus the attention of the students in various extra- curricular activities which would develop them mentally and physically into strong and responsible individuals for the future. She said that the school has managed to create a very good and positive environment for the students to bring out their talents in sports,music ,art etc and encourage them pursue them to perfection. She said that in spite of not having a playing ground the school arranges to conduct sports and athletic events by specially hiring a playing ground for the entire day to conduct Inter School Sports competitions to ensure that the students are not deprived of their sporting talents and physical training.

This years toppers for the school in the SSC exams 2011-2012 are 1. Prachi Ghodke. 91.45% 2. Pooja Das. 91.27% 3. Paras Bhanushali 91.09%

St. Lawrence High School & Jr. College celebrates Environment Day

On June 25,St. Lawrence High School & Jr. College celebrated Environment Day. Students & Teachers were involved in Tree plantation drive,Chetan Patel,Vishakha Ardekar,Harish Sharma & Chandrakant Patil took active part in this drive. Students of Std V to Xth participated along with the Principals Mrs. Ursula D’souza & Mrs. Corina Chowgule.

Double celebration for Ryan International Group of Institutions

“National Educational Excellence Award” was presented to Mrs. Grace Pinto,Managing Director,Ryan International Group of Institutions by National Education & Human Resource Development Organization,for the Excellence in the Field of Education,on the occasion of 16th National Seminar: National Economic Growth Through Individual Contribution,held on 20th June 2012,at Ravindra Natya Mandir,P. L. Deshpande Maharashtra Kala Academy,Prabhadevi,Mumbai.

On the same occasion Ryan International Group of Institutions was awarded the prestigious “Quality Brands India 2012-2014” for their excellence in education by Quality Brands Times,selected by the Executive Member of Advisory Board.
